As someone who has worn glasses for over 20 years, I’m definitely familiar with the importance and nuances of choosing the right eyewear. I’m so happy to have stumbled across this WGC Specsavers branch over 3 years ago - I honestly wish that all opticians could emulate their service! Having been with a range of opticians, both high and low-end, as well as independent ones, I can confidently say that this Specsavers is the best optician I have ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, while the optometrists are exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. They don't engage in hard selling or pressure you into buying frames. I wholeheartedly recommend them (but I also selfishly don’t want them to get any busier than they do 😅)!!!

Great sight and contact lens test and exam. Glasses sales are high pressured (i really dont need that kind of help - leave me alone), staff are not very helpful. Frames are mediocre in quality (my new ones are quite flimsy), delivery process is confusing. Go there for your eye exam but buy glasses elsewhere

Friendly staff, a thorough eye examination and a detailed explanation of the results with recommendations . A relaxed atmosphere, and I did not feel rushed.

I came in to Specsavers today to get my glasses sorted out wrong prescription and paid for it I've purchase to find out it was not covered and now asking me to pay a further £59 to cover their mistake I paid £427 for a pair of glasses that is supposed to be included everything told me on the day will be in a new customer , totally disappointed the way I've been treated not recommended and disappointed with staff unable to help and willing to help on the large amount of money that I've paid they don't help me ,so I was ask to come back . I came in today and saw a senior manager who has sorted all the problems out from the past and now we're back on the right track now and a new pair of glass is on its way thank you for Specsavers for sorting this out

Keep away, made glasses there that could never use.. when went back to the store, they want me to pay for eye test again because their guarantee is only for 3 months from the purchase date, unacceptable.

Very kind staff, however, I do think they have misdiagnosed me?? They said I was severely short sighted and my retina could very easily detach? When I went for an eye exam in February, they said my eyes were 20/20 vision and nothing was wrong with them, then I have a eye exam in May and I have severe short sightedness and a weak retina 😟? So I was given reading glasses, however I can read perfectly fine without them?? I’ve noticed that it’s very common that this Specsavers has misdiagnosed or given customers too strong prescriptions..
